The DES through the Publication and Reference section at the Directorate and the District Statistical Officer at the District level, collects secondary data and information from various Departments of the State and Central Government including Autonomous bodies and Semi-govt. agencies. The data collected are being compiled, tabulated and analyzed by the staff of the section to publish different kind of reports such as State Statistical Handbook, Statistical Abstracts , Meghalaya in Figures/Meghalaya at a Glance, District Level Key Statistics, District Statistical Handbook, District at a Glance etc on a regular basis.
