The main functions of this section are to prepare the Annual and Five Year Plan, Budget (BE & RE) for the entire Directorate, reconciliation of accounts, response to audit notes, allocation of annual / quarterly budget to the District Offices etc.
Further, the section also looks into all service matters including recruitment, seniority, transfer and posting, maintenance of service books (for non gazetted officers), promotions etc. apart from vigilance matters and drawal of pay and allowances, retirement benefits etc.
